Angry farmers burst into this government-operated golf course in Manila on Wednesday, laying rice seedlings on the 10th green in protest of the 10th anniversary of a controversial land reform programme. Under the programme, the Philippines government was supposed to buy and distribute more than 10 million (m) acres of land to landless farmers. Instead, less t...

A brief documentary about Manila, the capital city of the Philippines. Every year, more than 5.5 million tourists take their vacations in the Philippines, and often Manila is their very first stop. Manila is where big business takes place, where major investments are made, and where residential and commercial real estate is never-ending. Many tourists enjoy the malls, the restaurants, the museums, the nightlife, and even the beautiful Manila Bay. He invited a group of us from Newsong in Bangkok to take a day trip of eating and visiting Adams Organic Farm (http://adams-organic.com/), located in Pak Chong, about 3 - 4 hours from Bangkok. One of the best dishes for lunch was their sai krok Isaan (ไส้กรอกอีสาน), northeastern style Thai sausage served with lots of different toppings to complement the.
